Good morning!  Please read all of this to the end to make sure you don't miss something important! 

First, I'd like to update everyone on the McPherson meet madness and how things have shaken out.  The rescheduled meets are now loaded and available for entries.  If you previously registered your swimmer for these meets, you still need to go in and re-register.  Please also recognize, as mentioned before, that the July 8 meet will include per-event charges like a typical meet, but unlike the typical McPherson weeknight meet where we pay a low flat rate.

Sunflower Splashtacular is now July 8 and and will have an entry deadline this Friday.

The "Last Chance" meet is now July 15 and will have an entry deadline of July 4.  Note: for any parents of 15 and over swimmers, the times from this meet will not become official soon enough to be used for the July 17 Sr. Champs meet.

I will soon be going through times and checking to see if we have swimmers that qualify for any of the post-season champs meets.  If so, I'll be reaching out to get your entries as they use a different platform.

Each year Salina USD 305 takes the South High pool down in the month of July for maintenance.  The South pool will close following our practice tomorrow and will be closed the month of July (and maybe a bit of August).  Starting July 1, SAC Coach Breann will be leading practices at the Concordia City Pool.  These practices will continue through the month of July until our season ends.  Concordia charges a usage fee of $3.00 per day, but punch cards are available at a discounted price.  We're still working on exact time with the pool manager, but will likely be around 10:00-noon or so.  We realize this is inconvenient for swimmers in the Salina area, but presents a great opportunity for our growing group of Concordia and Belleville area swimmers.  Carpooling from Salina is encouraged - please reach out if you're interested in helping us organize so we can get as many of our swimmers up to Concordia as possible!

Finally, as our season does come to an end, we would like to thank everyone for a great year!  We have tentatively planned the start of our '25-'26 swim season with a fun return to the pool at our Salina South location August 25-29 with open tryouts and a fun multi-team camp.  We are currently planning to hold a season kickoff Parent Meeting August 21 @ 7:00 pm at South High.  We will get more info out as it gets closer, but wanted to get those dates on your calendar.
